In the year 2018 a group of dynamic software developers, who thought big and dreamt of building bigger founded Underscore Technology Private Limited. The Company was registered under The Companies Act 2013. This team although were having software development skills and knowledge were from different backgrounds had one common goal – “Big dreams deserve bold execution” This obsession turned these developers into a team – one built on trust resilience and the belief. They are driven by ambition, unified by purpose and unafraid to build what doesn’t exist.
Underscore Technology started in Kolkata in 2018 as a custom engineering shop. By 2020 we were delivering full-scale platform projects across HR, insurance, IoT, and media. In 2024 we launched our AI and intelligent automation practice — not as a marketing label, but as a working method: today our own delivery runs on a multi-agent pipeline with human review at every gate.
Along the way we did something most agencies never do: we kept some of what we built. uHRMS, Viveka, and OtaWall are products we own, operate, and answer for — with real users, real payroll runs, and real uptime obligations. That ownership is why our client work holds up: we recommend nothing we wouldn't run ourselves.
